The One-Day Nature Programme offers students an immersive outdoor learning experience designed to deepen their connection with the natural world. The day begins with an engaging orientation on safety and responsible outdoor conduct, followed by hands-on activities such as camera trapping, creative nature journaling, and understanding trail ethics. Participants are introduced to the fascinating world of birds through expert-led birdwatching sessions and practical training in using observation tools like binoculars and field guides. From lakeside birdwatching to guided evening trails, the programme encourages curiosity, keen observation, and respect for nature through meaningful, experiential learning.

Itinerary
  • Morning: Arrive at campsite, have breakfast, and participate in campsite and program orientation, followed by a safety and conduct briefing.
  • Pre-Lunch engagement: Nature-based activities such as camera trapping, Trail Ethics and methods of nature journaling.
  • Lunch.
  • Post Lunch: Basics of Birdwatching and Use of Wildlife Equipment (Binoculars, Magnifying Glasses, Field Guides and other Necessary equipment) 
  • Evening Trail: Lakeside bird watching.
  • High tea.
  • Depart: Leave from the campsite.
